Specializing in cuts, colors, and highlights, Bijju brings over 20 years of experience and expertise in some of CT’s top salons. Known for her attention to detail and creative touch, she is a thoughtful stylist dedicated to creating personalized and polished looks for every client.
In 1993 I attended the Connecticut Institute of Hair, where I received the Golden Shears award for graduating first in my class, and took first place in the student category at the 1994 CT Hair Show. After 5 years at Heidi’s Salon in Westfarms Mall, I joined the staff of Salon Medusa in West Hartford. In my 20 years there, Salon Medusa was awarded the Hartford Advocate/CTNow “Best Salon West Hartford” award 15 times, Hartford Magazine’s “Best of Hartford” award 4 times, and was voted WeHa’s “Best Hair Salon” six times! At Looks by Lena, I create gorgeous looks for my clients, whether the perfect cut to flatter the face shape, or a color that brings warmth and dimension to the hair. Creating beautiful hair is not only my job, it’s my passion!
